Grata began with a simple frustration: it is hard to find a room that takes coffee seriously without taking itself seriously. So we built one. Beans we can trace, bread we mix by hand each morning, and chairs nobody will ask you to give up.
The name comes from grata — welcome, pleasing, held in gratitude. That is the whole brief. Good things, made with care, for the people who live around the corner.
